In Sunnyvale, CA (contact pat@svpc.us) Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church has worked to organize all the other churches in town into a new organization called "Sunnyvale Cares." Together, as a group of churches, individuals and organizations, they are working to eliminate hunger through establishing individual monthly food drives at each of the churches and organizations to benefit the local food pantries and soup kitchens. Once hunger is eliminated, they plan on work on creating more affordable low-income housing in the community, and other needs of the poor.
